Initiate a Claim

To make a claim you have two options: complete an online form for Auto and Homeowners - see following sections - or call 1 800 685 9551 and provide the relevant information to our claims specialists. Our business hours are 9 am -5 pm Monday through Friday. You may also complete our Request a Call page and a specialist will call you at your convenience.

How does the online claim work?

Please note if If you require immediate assistance for any reason or just wish to talk to someone, please call 1 800 685 9551. Once you complete the online questionnaire your claim report will be electronically routed to our claims office. You will receive a return E-mail acknowledging that we have received your claim report. On the next business day, one of our claims service representatives will review your claim report and initiate the claims process. They may need to call you for more details, so it is important you provide details on where, when and how you can be contacted.

How long will it take to report a claim online?

Depending on the type of the claim and how much information you can easily access, the online process will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Reporting online - We will ask for detailed information regarding the specifics of your claim. Depending on the completeness of the information provided, we may be able to respond to your claim without a follow-up phone call. However, if you are unclear on a question or do not have the information, just leave the field blank and continue on with the report - note there are some boxes that must be completed for us to process the claim - these are marked.

What information do I need to report the claim?

Basically, just the policyholder's information and your knowledge of how the accident or loss occurred. The entry screens will prompt you for the rest of the information. Remember, you only need to complete the information you know.
